I was looking to improve the accuracy potential of my PTR MSR by having a set of receiver reinforcements (T-rails) installed along with an SR9 20″ barrel. I had heard about Brethren Arms through Karl and Ian over at InRange TV and was impressed by what I saw. Kyle was a huge help throughout the process, he was very responsive to my questions about everything from how to ship the rifle to what barrels my hand guard design could accommodate. When the rifle came back I was very impressed with the quality of the welds and the fact that my group sizes were cut in half. I have to compliment the Cerakoter they use as well. Because the rifle had to be recoated after all the work I figured I might as well have a pattern applied. I decided to go for an A-TACS inspired pattern and the Cerakoter did an excellent job at executing it, I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. About the only thing I can complain about is that I had to send the rifle back to have the cocking handle support looked at because it was unusually difficult to run the action. They took care of the problem with no extra charge so I can’t complain that much at all. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and would certainly do business with Brethren Arms again.
